Vidalia Onion Casserole

Ingredients:

6  medium Vidalia onions, sliced
1 pt. sour cream
1 can water chestnuts, drained
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated    
2 cups crushed Ritz crackers
tsp. paprika
cup mayonnaise
cup butter

 
Directions:

In greased casserole dish, arrange Vidalia Onions, mix together other ingredients and pour over Vidalia onions,
Bake at 350 F for 30 to 40 minutes.  Top with cracker crumbs. Dot with mayonnaise. Serve hot.
