This recipe was developed by my mother after they started to deep fry their turkeys.
It has a great taste, and ensures that the dressing is always fully cooked.
This recipe makes a large (5 qt.) crock pot full.

Ingredients:
20 cups dried bread cubes (can be store bought)
2 cups diced celery
1 cup diced onion
1 lb pork sausage
6 eggs, beaten
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 tsp. sage (optional, tastes great either way)
3 1/2 to 4 cans 14oz. chicken broth
Directions:
Cook the sausage, onions, and celery together until onions are clear and sausage is crumbled.
In a LARGE mixing bowl, combine the bread cubes, sage, salt and pepper,
eggs, broth, and the cooked sausage mix.
Squish ingredients together. Should be really moist and sticky, not runny.
Cook in a large crock pot on high for 45 minutes, then on low for 6 hours.
Serve and enjoy!!!!
