Cheese And Chive Biscuits

 

 

 

 

 

  Ingredients:

2 cups Bisquick mix

1/4 cup yellow cornmeal

2/3 cups milk

1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

2 Tbs. chopped chives

 

Directions: 

 Preheat oven to 450 degrees F

In a large mixing bowl, combine Bisquick and cornmeal. Stir in milk just to the point that dough forms.

Turn out onto a floured surface and knead in the Cheddar cheese and chives.

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a greased baking sheet. (12 spoonfuls is normal yield )

Bake for 8-9 minutes, or until golden brown.

 

Serve hot with plenty of butter!!
