Quick And Easy Beef and Potato Soup


Here's a quick and easy Beef and Potato Soup recipe that uses simple ingredients. 

It's very tasty and can be spiced up any way you want. 


1 pound of lean ground beef or chuck

4 cups of cubed potatoes, peeled if preferred. (1/2" cubes)

1 Small onion, chopped

3 cans (8 ounce) tomato sauce

4 cups water

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. garlic salt

1-1/2 tsp. black pepper

1/2 to 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce



In a Dutch Oven or large cooking pot, brown the ground beef/chuck. Drain

Add potatoes, onion, and tomato sauce.

Stir in water, salts, pepper and hot sauce.

Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, or until potatoes are tender and soup is thickened.


You can also fix this in a crock pot by browning the meat separately, add the ingredients, and

cooking on high for several hours. It's great either way.
