Tim's Simple Chili

This simple and easy to fix recipe for chili has been a favorite of mine for some time,

and always well received at our food days at work.

 

Ingredients:

1 to ˝ lb lean ground chuck

2 cans Brooks Hot Chili Beans

1 can diced tomatoes, un-drained

1 medium yellow onion, chopped

1 medium bell pepper, chopped

1 Tbsp sugar

 

Directions:

Brown meat, drain if necessary

In a large cooking pot, add meat, beans, tomatoes,

onion, and pepper. Mix well.

Cook covered on medium to medium low heat for 1 to 1 ˝ hours.

At the end of cooking, stir in sugar to smooth the flavor.

 

** If hot and spicy chili is desired, use Brooks’ Hot and Spicy beans.
